The Mat Elliott Quartet has been gigging together since late 1998. They have had a residency in Windsor Royal Station since early 1999. They have been gradually been building up a name for themselves in the Windsor area and are trying now to branch out onto the London Scene.


They have recently begun working with a singer, which has had a great effect on the band giving them a whole new area to experiment in, both in performance and composition.


They play in a number of different styles from slow ballad-like songs to funky latin grooves, from jazz standards to new compositions written by members of the Quartet.


They recently recorded an album comprising of original songs by Andy Fisher (pianist) and some classic Jazz Standards, and they hope to be able to work more in the recording studio later this year.
